◆Overview This is a non-fluorocarbon automatic ice-making system specifically designed for plate ice, jointly developed by Maekawa and Aiseman Co., Ltd., which have a long track record in the ice-making and cooling market. It produces high-quality plate ice with uniform thickness, low impurities, and high transparency. Plate ice is hard, has excellent cold retention properties, and can be crushed, making it suitable for various applications. ◆Reasons for Selection High-quality ice with high efficiency The ice maker adopts a CO₂ liquid pump system. Because the refrigerant is evenly distributed and there are no temperature variations, it produces ice with uniform thickness that has high cold retention and is difficult to melt. An efficient NH₃/CO₂ refrigerant indirect cooling system is used as the heat source, allowing for up to a 50% reduction in power consumption for the freezer*. The ice maker operates in an oil-free system that circulates only CO₂, improving ice-making efficiency by 20%* without performance degradation. *Compared to our conventional fluorocarbon models. Wide Range of Lineup We offer a wide range from 3 tons to large capacity of 25 tons. A fully automatic ice-making system can be flexibly realized. For ice production up to 12 tons, a refrigeration safety manager is not required. The freezer and ice maker only need to connect CO₂ piping and electrical wiring, resulting in shorter construction periods and minimizing CO₂ charge amounts.
